Accessibility Policy

This website adheres as closely as possible to the Web Accessibility Guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium W3C group, and the UK Government’s guidelines in the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).

Navigation

At the header of each page a ‘breadcrumb trail’ navigation menu is available to assist the user in understanding where they are in the site.

Appearance

This site has been developed using XHTML, PHP and CSS which allows visually impaired users to navigate and experience the site content without restrictions by the layout.

Some visitors may find it necessary to increase or decrease the size of the text appearing on screen. This can be achieved by:

Apple Mac – holding the ‘Apple’ key, then pressing + or – to alter the font size.

Internet Explorer users can use the ‘View’ menu, highlighting the ‘Text Size’, then selecting the appropriate option.
